RP Financial is highly recognized in providing business planning services and frequently prepares business plans submitted to Federal and State regulatory agencies for a variety of purposes, and often such plans accompany regulatory applications or are prepared to respond to enforcement actions. Our senior consultants have working knowledge in balance sheet and income statement management as well as restructuring balance sheets to expand or contract, incorporate capital transactions, enter or exit new business lines, or in connection with your regular business planning process. We regularly help our clients evaluate the feasibility and project the income statement and balance sheet effect of alternatives they are considering.

We draft the narrative portion of the business plan based on information provided by the client, and incorporating the strategic initiatives approved by the Board, incorporating RP Financial’s recommendations and related analyses. Revisions will be incorporated in the final version based on client comments. If required, the business plan, including financial projections, will be submitted to the appropriate regulatory agency, the business planning document will be prepared to conform to interagency business planning guidelines. If comments are received by the regulatory agency, reflecting points for clarification or requests for more supporting information about specific strategies, RP Financial will assist our clients in preparing appropriate responses and prepare amendments to the business plan and financial projections for the purposes of gaining final approval.

We have considerable experience working with executive management and Boards in business planning matters in connection with strategic planning, merger and capital transactions, de novo activity and regulatory enforcement actions.
